So after all this, mudslinging and whatnot.  Big Ben Roethlisberger’s accuser offers to settle the lawsuit charged against him for sexual assault.  If anything, at this point in time, it shows that this person in question is and seems mentally unstable.  Either way, it’s a shame that if this isn’t true at all.  How one person can manipulate the system and attempt to cash grab at a high profile player.  It’s been going on for years, but it’s gotten to the point where it should be punishable under some kind of charge, whether it’s fraud or conspiracy or whatever.

The demands in order to clear this case are as follows:

he must admit that he assaulted her; he must deliver to her a letter of apology withdrawing “the false statements and allegations that he and his agents have made about her.” And, lastly, he must donate $100,000 to the Committee to Aid Abused Women in Reno, Nev., “or a similar entity designated by the plaintiff.”

In all honesty, this is actually a really good way to spin a terrible situation that could happen to really any woman out there.  However, if I was Ben, I would not write an apology to her at all.  If anything she owes the apology to him.  I would actually offer to donate some sort of substance to a charity, and I would not clear her name of anything.

What she did was crazy, and in fact.  I’m pretty sure she is crazy.  We are not sure yet as to what will happen but I think it’s safe to say that after the past few months it would be great for both parties to get this over with.  To read the full article, head over to: http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/09251/996537-66.stm
