There's at least one thing we can talk about in a positive light(when dealing with this economy). Pittsburgh has looked like it's shielded itself a slowish economy, and actually been a positive year for small business, and large company start ups.

I've got a report here saying that the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, has won various awards from Casino Player Magazine.Supposedly, the biggest award for Pennsylvania was the Best Overall Gaming Resort, and The Rivers Casino took it home.

Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of the shooting that took place at LA Fitness in Collier. George Sodini took the life of 3 women, injured 9 more, and then took his own life. It was a sad and sickening day, and it's turned into a moment that I'll never forget, as well as many others....

Luke Ravenstahl and Dan Onorato can't be happy about this. Their highly "touted" economic boost project failed, and it's failed hard. Not to mention that it's failing and it's not even open up yet. The North Shore Connector has been rated the 3rd highest wasteful spending project by stimulus tax payer money. That just isn't great news to hear, in fact, people of Pittsburgh should be outraged....
