Ok, this is probably one of the few times you will see me post something aside from a Pittsburgh related article ever. It’s my need to end this is my own mind that I need to write about it here. This Tiger Woods situation is tired/old and a joke that needs to end.
Tiger, can really do anything that he wants(inside the boundaries of legality). He’s a big boy, and the only person he hurt in this issue more
so than himself is his wife. With all of these allegations swarming around the media outlets it’s no wonder why she would be hurt or upset with what Tiger supposedly did or didn’t do.
Personally who cares, but since it’s relevant he’s issued an apology about what happened the night he drove over a fire hydrant and then hit a tree:
As you all know, I had a single-car accident earlier this week, and sustained some injuries. I have some cuts, bruising and right now I’m pretty sore.
This situation is my fault, and it’s obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I’m human and I’m not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn’t happen again.
This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way. Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible.
The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false.
This incident has been stressful and very difficult for Elin, our family and me. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes that we have received. But, I would also ask for some understanding that my family and I deserve some privacy no matter how intrusive some people can be.
Well good for him I guess. I’m also sure that he’s glad the police investigation is over after he decides to spill the beans. Either way, let this die as a news story. It will forever fade in my archives after this day and I will never speak of this again.!
